Earl Long has extensive experience, corporate memory and financial skills related to the Income Tax especially in Kansas and in the US Congress.
- He was a member of the Board of Directors of American For Fair Taxation (AFFT) in Houston, Texas.
- AFFT was the founding organization of the FairTax Movement and the sponsor of its New York Times best seller “The FairTax” book.
- Earl Long was State Director for the state of Kansas.
- He created and managed the Kansas Corporation, FairTax KC LLC.
- He very actively lobbied the two US Senators from Kansas (Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran) and the four US House of Representatives.
- During the height of the campaign to convince the US Congress to pass the
FairTax bills, Kansas was the only state in the Union where 100% of the States
elected officials in Congress were Sponsors or Co-Sponsors of the FairTax bill. - Kansas Senator Moran was the primary sponsor of the Senate bill.
- His activities in the Kansas Legislature focused on the KS House Tax Committee.
- He was the author of the bill to eliminate the Income Tax in Kansas.
- He wrote many published articles showing the financial benefits to the citizens of Kansas as it was one of 12 States at that time that did not have an Income Tax.
- His knowledge of mathematical modelling is based on his college degrees, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
- He was a businessman having created five corporations some of which are still
